RBC Whistler Granfondo 2017

This past Summer in Vancouver featured heat waves and continuous dry conditions but on September 9th this was not the case. After months of perfect riding weather the rain had decided to return to our city for one day. This day happened to be the RBC Whistler Granfondo which sees riders venture on a 122km journey from Vancouver to Whistler along the stunning Sea-to-Sky Highway. While the rain steered some individuals away from participating there were a few keen Georgia Cycling members eager to chase down some personal goals.

The wet and cold conditions were tough but many braved through them and the emergency sheets at the finish line were welcomed by all.
